About the business

Miklos Made is the trading name of Miklos, a sole trader. It is not a limited company or other registered company. The business address is 13 Clovelly Road, Bexleyheath, DA7 5RG.

Quotes and scope

A quote or estimate is based on the information available at the time. The agreed scope, materials, price and timing will be confirmed with you before work starts. If the work changes, the effect on price or timing will be discussed before additional work is undertaken.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about the property and work required.
• Provide reasonable access and a safe working environment.
• Tell Miklos promptly about changes, concerns or hidden issues discovered during the work.

Materials and finish

Materials will be agreed as appropriate for the job. Colour, texture and natural timber can vary from samples or photographs. Surfaces and existing construction can affect the final finish; preparation and any limitations will be discussed where relevant.

Payment

The payment schedule and accepted payment method will be agreed in writing before work begins. Invoices are due on the date stated on the invoice. Any concern about an invoice should be raised promptly so it can be discussed.

Changes and cancellation

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel agreed work. Any reasonable costs already incurred or work completed may remain payable. Consumer cancellation rights may apply in some circumstances; the relevant details will be discussed when the work is agreed.

Problems and liability

Please tell Miklos as soon as possible about a problem with the work so there is a fair opportunity to inspect and put it right where appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including statutory consumer rights.
